The Women Empowerment Cell of is a proactive body committed to empowering women by providing them with a platform for awareness, support, education, and expression. The cell works towards creating awareness about women's rights, promoting leadership, enhancing self-esteem, and addressing gender-related issues sensitively and effectively.

Objectives:

· To promote gender sensitivity in the college environment.

· To empower women students through awareness programs, workshops, and mentoring.

· To address grievances and ensure a safe, harassment-free campus.

· To encourage women’s participation in academic, co-curricular, and leadership roles.

· To foster a culture of respect, equality, and opportunity for all genders.

Major Activities:

· Workshops & Seminars: On gender sensitization, legal rights, mental health, self-defence, menstrual hygiene, and entrepreneurship.

· Awareness Campaigns: International Women’s Day, Breast Cancer Awareness, and campaigns on gender equity and domestic violence.

· Skill Development: Training in communication, digital literacy, financial literacy, leadership, and personal development.

· Collaborations: With NGOs, legal experts, women achievers, and health professionals.

· Redressal Support: In coordination with Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), ensures a confidential and fair grievance mechanism.
