Internal Complaint Committee - Profile

The college is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and equitable campus environment. The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is a statutory body constituted to prevent and address sexual harassment and gender-based misconduct on campus.

Vision:

To build a gender-sensitive, harassment-free academic space where every student and staff member feels respected, secure, and supported.

Objectives:

· To provide a safe, confidential, and accessible mechanism for reporting complaints of sexual harassment.

· To sensitize students and staff through awareness programs and capacity-building workshops.

· To conduct inquiries, hearings, and redressal procedures in accordance with due process.

· To uphold the rights of the complainant and respondent with impartiality, transparency, and respect.

Key Activities:

· Complaint Handling: Confidential inquiry and redressal mechanism for reported incidents.

· Awareness Drives: Posters, newsletters, social media campaigns, and legal literacy.

· Workshops & Training: Gender sensitization sessions for students, faculty, and administrative staff.

· Policy Implementation: Monitoring and updating anti-sexual harassment policies in accordance with UGC and government norms.
